Aguman Charity Golf Tournament A Success

Aguman Capampangan Australia Inc (ACAI) took to the greens at Rosnay Golf Course, Auburn last month, for its annual Invitational Golf Tournament.


Despite the weather, 68 golfers from different golf clubs teed off and competed in the invitational tournament with Rey Garcia of Marsden Golf Club taking the top honours. (Photo above shows the winners and officers of ACAI).

 Other winners in the 18 hole tournament are: .Division A  Winner – ROSS SANDOVAL; Division B Winner – NEP PALOMO; Division C Winner – EDWA GARCIA.  Special prizes were also awarded to the following:

Eagles Nest award was given to MANNY VENTURA.

Nearest to the Pin: GILBERT MORALEDA (Hole 2) and VICTOR ILAGAN (Hole 13)

Longest Drive: GEORGE CABARUS (Hole 11) and ALVIN BERNALDO (Hole 18)

Drive & Pitch: CRAIG GARDINER (Hole 8)and MAYNARD TABUNGAR (Hole 18)

The bad weather did not dampen the spirits of the Capampangans and it was all for a good cause. The tournament raised  $2,281.05 and will go towards the association’s ongoing scholarship program in Pampanga and Tarlac.

“Aguman Capampangan thanks all the participating teams, sponsors and volunteers for their assistance and for making this year’s tournament a success. Your help and continued support, enables us to continue our scholarship program for deserving students in our region,” said ACAI President, Marivic V. Manalo.
